Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions may be updated without notice. The current version applies at the time of quotation and is available upon request. If you have any questions, please contact Amazali by La Factory Pty Ltd (“Amazali”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

1) About your Quotation (“Quote”)

Your Quote:

1. Validity

  • Is valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless extended by us in writing.
  • If an extension is granted, pricing may be adjusted to reflect increased costs (including materials, labour, freight, supplier pricing and other inputs).

2. Estimate only

  • Is an estimate based on the plans, selections, and specifications available at the time of quoting.
  • Is subject to final site check-measure, final plans, and confirmed product selections.

3. Scope certainty

  • Is based only on items expressly described in the Quote.
  • The Quote supersedes all prior discussions or representations.
  • If you believe something should be included but is not clearly specified in the Quote, you must notify us in writing so an amended Quote can be issued.

4. Exclusions (unless stated otherwise in the Quote)

The Quote does not include:

  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Gas
  • Tiling
  • Plastering
  • Painting
  • Waterproofing
  • Flooring works
  • Splashbacks
  • Installation of rangehoods/canopies
  • Sinks (including undermount/flush-mount installation)
  • Tapware
  • Appliances
  • Mirrors
  • Removal of existing joinery
  • Structural works
  • Builders works
  • Patching
  • Rectification
  • Making-good to walls, ceilings and floors

5. Specialty items & third-party supplied products

  • Appliances, sinks, taps, and other third-party supplied or special order items require 100% prepayment within 7 days of invoice or quotation (unless confirmed otherwise in writing).
  • Supplier terms including lead times, change-of-mind, restocking fees, and warranty handling apply.

6. When your Quote becomes confirmed

A Quote becomes confirmed only when, within the validity period, you have:

  • Signed and returned the Quote acceptance
  • Signed and returned the Amazali contract (if applicable)
  • Paid the initial deposit invoice in full
  • Signed any statutory contract or insurance documents required by law

2) About your Contract

  • Will be issued after your Quote is accepted
  • Will set out your agreed scope, payment schedule, key assumptions, and project milestones
  • Must be read together with the Quote and the final signed plans and selections

3) About your Plans / Drawings

Approval

  • Plans and drawings are final once approved and confirmed by you in writing.
  • Lead time starts only at approval of shop drawings for manufacture.

Changes after approval

  • Any changes requested after approval are treated as a Variation.
  • Additional fees, redesign time and material changes may apply.

Accuracy and responsibilities

  • You must confirm appliance model numbers, product selections, and site conditions.
  • We are not responsible for fitment issues where required information is not supplied on time.

Intellectual property

  • All designs and documentation remain the intellectual property of Amazali until payment is made in full.
  • You may not reproduce or provide our designs to third parties without written consent.

4) Materials & Hardware

  • We use high-quality materials and hardware consistent with a premium joinery and stone outcome.
  • Typical inclusions may include moisture resistant board, solid backs, quality hardware and benchtop edge profiles.
  • If a specified product is unavailable, we may substitute with an item of equivalent or higher quality.

5) Provisional Costs (PC)

  • Items marked PC are provisional allowances only.
  • Final charges will be adjusted to the actual cost once selections are confirmed.

6) Statutory Contracts, Insurance & Compliance

  • You may be required to sign additional statutory contract documents.
  • Statutory insurance premiums may apply depending on project value.

7) Payment Schedule

  • Payment schedule will be stated in your contract or invoices.
  • Late payments may cause delays.
  • Title to goods remains with Amazali until paid in full.
  • Accepted payment methods include card, EFTPOS and direct deposit.

8) Variations

  • A Variation is any change to the project after quote acceptance.
  • Variations may cause delays and additional costs.

9) Production Lead Time & Project Timeline

  • Lead time varies based on workload and supplier lead times.
  • Installation timeframes vary depending on finishes selected.
  • Services may be disrupted during works.

10) Trade Subcontractors & Other Trades

  • Trades may be subcontracted.
  • Client-arranged trades must follow signed plans.
  • Additional costs caused by other trades may be charged as a Variation.

11) Appliance Models & Client Information

  • Appliance model numbers must be provided by check-measure.
  • Fitment issues caused by late information may be treated as a Variation.

12) Stone Tops

  • Stone templating occurs after cabinetry installation.
  • Stone installation occurs 8–15 working days after templating.
  • Crane access may incur additional costs.

13) Exclusions & Existing Conditions

  • We do not remove or reinstate flooring or trims unless stated.
  • Builder repairs are excluded unless quoted.

14) Old Kitchen Removal

  • Removal covers removal and disposal only.
  • Repairs and repainting are excluded unless stated.

15) Delivery & Installation Requirements

  • Clear and safe access must be provided.
  • A responsible person must be available for deliveries.

16) Tiling / New Flooring Prior to Installation

  • Do not lay tiles or flooring before cabinetry installation unless agreed in writing.

17) Defects & Claims

  • Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of installation.

18) Outdoor Cabinetry & Special Products

  • Outdoor cabinetry is warranted only if protected from weather.
  • Stone washplanes are not warranted.

19) Warranty Claims

  • Warranties are provided by the manufacturer or supplier.

20) What Amazali is not responsible for

  • Damage to existing infrastructure where reasonable care is taken.
  • Costs arising from undisclosed site conditions.

21) Delivery of Appliances to Our Workshop

  • Items must only be delivered when requested.
  • Additional handling time may be charged.

22) Change of Mind Returns

  • Returns are subject to supplier terms.
  • Restocking fees may apply.

23) Damaged or Defective Goods

  • Claims must be submitted within 24 hours of receipt.

24) Stone Products

  • Stone varies naturally in colour and pattern.
  • Maintenance is the client’s responsibility.

25) Solid Surface Products

  • Products are repairable but may scratch.

26) Laminate Benchtops

  • Avoid abrasive cleaners and hot cookware.

27) Photos & Marketing

  • Amazali may use project images for marketing purposes.

28) Subject to Change

  • These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.
